My new tattoo
My grandparents were very important to me. I was an only grandchild and they doted on me. They both died last year. Since I'm leaving Texas to move to Seattle next week, I wanted to take a little part of them with me. When I was a kid, they had a CB radio. Our handles were Mama Rat, Papa Rat, and Baby Rat. The Rat Pack. My buddy Bart did this tattoo for me in honor of them. The little cowboy outfit was my favorite one and Grandpa was always doing crossword puzzles. It turned out bigger than I thought but I love it. It covers half the outside of my left leg.

Life is overwhelming me
My life is insane! I got back from my Seattle vacation on September 13th and then I spent the next two and a half weeks working marathon sessions at work training my successor. My last day was the 28th. Since then, I've spent all my time going through all our stuff sorting out what I'm selling in my big garage sale this weekend. Rhonda is already in Seattle so she's no help. Next week, I'll be packing because the movers are coming on the 12th. Then I'll be driving with my 3 cats and 1 dog for a week to get to Seattle. So, all that to say that I won't be putting out a new podcast until at least the end of October. I just don't have time. I hate having to put it off but it just has to be done. Everybody take care and I'll be back at the end of October or the beginning of November for lots more from our talented Xenaverse bards.

Sorry but it won't be this week
Yes, I know I was going to put out a new show today but it just isn't going to happen. My life is so crazy with the move and all. I'm hoping to get the new show out next Monday. I'll be done with work by then and hopefully have a bit more time.

In this show, I read the conclusion of "Quality Dying Time" by Temora. "When an accident injures and traps the warrior and bard in a landslide on the side of an isolated mountain, an unpredictable, infuriating and disturbed nine-year-old girl, Tai, is their only chance for rescue. The problem is that Tai doesn't want to get help. She wants to talk. But their time is limited, and it is fast running out..." This awesome story can be found at The Royal Academy of Bards. Temora's email is temoram@yahoo.co.uk.

Xena Fan Fiction Podcast Show #23
Listen to Show #23

In this show, I read the conclusion of "A Story of Magic" by C.L. Bactad. Gabrielle enters a staff tournament against some of the best in Greece. Xena gets a visit from her past that throws all her feelings into question. Will Gabrielle get soundly defeated or will love actually conquer all? (Yeah, it's my description and it's kinda sappy. So what!) This awesome story can be found at Ausxip.com. If you know the author's email address, please let me know.
